Alongside my professional career, I pursue academic studies and conduct independent research in Security Studies, Intelligence and Counterintelligence, HUMINT, Strategic Intelligence, Cyber Espionage and Warfare, Critical Infrastructure Security, and Artificial Intelligence.
My research and publications explore the intersection of cybersecurity, intelligence, artificial intelligence, critical infrastructure, geopolitics, emerging technologies, and modern intelligence operations, combining technical, strategic, behavioural, and organizational perspectives.
My current independent research focuses particularly on Machine-to-Machine Intelligence (M2MINT™), a conceptual framework I have proposed for examining intelligence and counterintelligence relationships among autonomous and semi-autonomous artificial agents.
Within this framework, AI systems may function not only as intelligence tools, but also as intelligence actors and intelligence targets.

In 2006, I authored the chapter “Bilgi Güvenliği” (Information Security), published in the academic volume Bilgi Yönetimi: Akademik Yaklaşımlar by Beta Basım Yayın.
The chapter examines information security as an integral component of organizational management and emphasizes the importance of integrating information security systems and corporate security policies into organizational processes to mitigate business risks.
